The service is great. Very attentive and helpful. The ambience is family oriented and quite enough to have a good conversation. The food was a mix bag. The meatball appetizer was generous but the meat's seasoning was a bit bland. The pizza was substancial and topping fresh. But, the crust tasted bland and as if was frozen dough. The best food item were the garlic knots. They were generous in size and with plenty of garlic and warm.

Food - 4 stars Service - 5 stars. Was SUPER! Ambiance - 4 stars. Charming but tables are pretty close together. The pizza is very good thin crust. My entree was the Tagliatelle a Tartufo. It is fresh handmade tagliatelle blended with Alfredo and tossed in the parmigiana wheel and with black truffle. This had very good flavor but a tad bit dry. I added grilled chicken and that was a mistake. It was tough, dry and very overcooked. Truly inedible. I removed it and ate the pasta. The complimentary bread and olive oil with parmigiana is excellent. Others with me had the eggplant dish, the penne alla vodka and the pollo al Marsala. They all enjoyed their choices. Prices are fair. I would go again to try more of their extensive, delicious looking menu.

In contrast to other areas where you go and they serve a lot of food with the beautiful presentation but you can't taste anything, my family and I always go to this authentic Italian restaurant when we're in an area that's far from home. The food is excellent here, the portions are large, and every plate is delicious and perfect. The lobster soup is considered one of the best, the garlic rolls are delicious, and the mozzarella sticks have the ideal quantity of cheese and are cooked to perfection. All of the pizzas are terrific, and we also sampled a few pasta dishes, including the dish of carbonara and lobster ravioli. Because the amounts are large, you can share nearly everything, and I always finish with a couple of boxes to go. The boys and girls who work there have always provided pleasant service. The waitresses consistently remain very attentive, and the food is served at the ideal time. You will adore it, so if everybody're in the area, give it a try.

Our first visit to this delightful culinary experience. We thoroughly enjoyed a small White pizza , and Caesar salad. The decor was above average and service was great. Two days later on our return back through the area, we had determined to stop here again. We ordered the meat lovers calzone and once again we're impressed with the quality and quantity of the calzone. Service was once again exemplary. I would encourage anyone passing through the area to stop for the experience of a lifetime.

Had an amazing experience tonight at Mamma Mia 2. Service was excellent and the food was superb. We were looking for somewhere for dinner and found this place listed on our hotel's list of recommendations for the area. Our waitress was lovely and the owner stopped by our table at the beginning of dinner to explain the menu and make recommendations. It was a really nice personal touch. We ended up getting the fresh mozzarella which was made right in front of us. It was delicious and a really cool dining experience. We also got the homemade pasta which was incredibly tasty. It wasn't overly heavy on the stomach and you could tell they put thought into the ingredients. The meal was a little pricey but I think the overall experience made it worth it. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area, and I can't wait to go back.

Great service! Food was delicious. Garlic (real bits & mixed with a little basted butter in the crust!) bread with sprinkled Parmesan cheese is soo good. Mozzarella sticks with the gravy boat of tomato sauce really was a perfect appetizer. The crispy breaded veal with arugula and cherry tomatoes was perfect. Cappuccino with chocolate sauce was my nice finish. No dessert ... didn't have time since had tickets to a nearby event.

I have been here several times but I have never been with my best friend and so me and my boyfriend decided to take her here for dinner when she came down to visit me this past weekend. The food is always amazing. I always try to try something new every time. This time I had the fettuccine carbonara and I drank 3 cosmopolitans with my dinner. My boyfriend and best friend both had the Stromboli. It was so filling that they brought home leftovers. And I couldn't resist bringing home tiramisu. The service was always top notch and the ambiance was nice for a Sunday night. I will always recommend this place to anyone who is in the Homestead area. Two thumbs up.
